Linksys SPA-2102 Light Statuses

Power	Ethernet	Phone 1	Phone 2	What It Means:
flashing red	/	/	/	1. This means the voice terminal is attempting a self test. If this pattern stays indefinitely the voice terminal is defective.
flashing green	/	/	/	1. At this point the voice terminal is attempting to obtain an ip address from the cable modem. If this does not turn solid replace the Ethernet cable. Reboot the cable or dsl modem, and verify that with Modem -> PC the pc can obtain an IP address. If the unit can still not obtain an IP address there may be a DHCP issue that will need to be escalated to the cable or dsl service provider.
solid	flashing	/	/	1. In this state the Voice Terminal is powered up and is registering internet traffic on the line Usually if neither of the line lights are on this means that the Voice Terminal has not been registered properly on the MyAccount website. Register the MAC ID and reboot the Voice Terminal. 3. If the above does not resolve the issue reset the unit to factory defaults and reprovison. (Linksys or Motorola)

a / means that this light could be either be on, off, or flashing for this status.
not solid means either flashing or off.
