Email Troubleshooting

When a customer's email is not working, the first thing to do (after you ensure that the internet is up and running) is make sure that the customer is using the correct mail servers.

Most customers will be using Outlook Express for their email client. To view an existing account in this program, go to Tools-> Accounts. Pick the Mail tab. Then click on the account in the white rectangle, and click on Properties.

Ensure that the ingoing and outgoing mail servers are entered in correctly.
