Customer Does Not Have 3web Software Installed On Dial Up
In order to use 3web Internet on dial-up, the 3web software needs to be installed. The easiest way to install is from the CD that they should have received with their installation package.
Customer has the CD
Ask them to
- Insert the CD into their CD-ROM drive on their computer
- Wait for the 3web install program to pop up
- If it doesn't pop up after 10 seconds, have them go to: My Computer, and double click on the 3web software.
- Follow through the install with them
Customer doesn't have the CD
Without the CD we can either have them:
- Buy a CD from one of the local distributors.
- Download the software from http://download.3web.com on a friend's customer with working internet, burn the file, and bring it back home.
- Send them a free installation CD which arrives in 5-7 business days.
